This Angel Mural was created to fill the vacant wall in the client's foyer. I used an actual large
statue for the model, photographing it at the appropriate angle. I then stretched it slightly in
Photoshop to account for the "shortening" or "squatting" effect due to the natural perspective. I
then used this as my reference. To think that the old masters had to do this "stretching" with no
tools other than their hands and eyes and perhaps some gridwork!
