Airbrush 101 schedule-price-enroll
In this three hour morning workshop, you'll get a crash course in the basics of airbrushing. We'll start with a quick "tear down and reassembly" so you'll know exactly what's inside this complex tool, how it functions, and how to properly maintain it!
We'll then move on to some rudimentary control excercises which will give you the foundation for developing a good technique. We'll wrap up with a demonstration and dis-cussion of the different uses for the airbrush and the various types of equipment and accessories you'll need.
All in all this short workshop is perfect for the budget-minded adventurous artist willing to be taught the basics and then experiment on their own!

Airbrush 102 schedule-price-enroll
This workshop includes enrollment in Airbrush 101 plus a catered lunch. The first portion will expand on the excercises you leaned in the morning 101 class. We'll then delve into some of the tasks that can be accomplished with the airbrush such as shading and working with stencils.
The final portion of the day will focus on graining techniques for use in faux marble and other decorative effects. Some knowledge or experience with traditional faux painting techniques is helpful but not required.
Don't expect to master the airbrush in either of these courses alone. The purpose of both of these classes is to teach you the basics and to get you started! Since holding the airbrush is unlike any other art tool you may have used, mastering it requires much practice. But the great thing about the airbrush is that you can achieve wonderful effects well before you are considered a master!
