In this three day beginner's level course, you will paint several elements common
to interior mural and decorative painting. Some of the items you will paint include:
Simple landscape
Basic trellis
Balustrade
Growing vines and roses
Column base and capital (in perspective!)
Simple stone ediface with chiseled lettering
Basic trompe l' oeil moulding.
In addition to demos for each of the above excercises, I will also give a
demonstration on airbrushing allowing you see the potential that this unique tool can bring
to your business.
Though this is a beginner's level class, it is suggested that you have some minimal
artistic ability. This may be merely a fondness for sketching or doodling, or a past affinity
for tole painting or other crafty endeavors. Some of these excercises involve a straight
edge or pre-made templates, but others will necessitate some freehand drawing skills.
